Obituary

Richard "Dick" Clements passed away peacefully at home on July 30, 2023 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Karen for 53 beautiful years. Loving father of Gay Cooper, Nancy (Greg) Kapatos, and Janice (Wayne) Hallquist. Proud grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 7. Dick is also survived by his dear sister, Ruth Lois DiDomenico, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick earned a full ride scholarship to Western Michigan University playing baseball. There he earned his Master's degree in education. He was a lifelong resident of Dearborn, Michigan where he spent his life devoted to being a teacher, counselor, and coached many sports. He worked at O.L. Smith, Woodworth, and Edsel Ford schools. Through his life, Dick left an immense legacy of mentorship and guidance on so many of his students and athletes. To say that he will be deeply missed and remembered by many would be an understatement.
