It is with great sadness that the family of Richard (Rick) Everett Danes, announces his passing.

Rick was born on August 6, 1947, and passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 76.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Irma Danes; his children Richard (Debbie) Danes II and Jessica (David) Miller; his beloved grandchildren Daniel and David; his grand dogs Diesel and Max; his nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Pearle Edward Danes, and Cora Effie Heiss Farmer, and his mother-in-law, Nina Joslin. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Rick was a devoted employee at Ford Motor Company for 34 years before he retired. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, fishing, and reading. He was also an active Dearborn resident, being a standing officer for the Dearborn Historical Museum Guild, regularly volunteering at the Dearborn Historical Museum, and being a long-standing member of the Son's of Union Veteran's organization.

Rick will always be remembered for his dedication, dependability, work ethic, humor, and his spirited personality. Above all, he will be remembered as a caring husband, loving father and grandfather, and faithful friend.
