Richard "Rick" Patrick Giraud, age 66, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away on December 27, 2023.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who spent many of his years on the ball field supporting his children.  His true passions were bowling and family, but he was a cherished friend of so many.  After retiring from the Taylor School District in 2011 he enjoyed camping, trips to the casino, and watching sporting events with his family.

He is survived by his children Steven(daughter-in-law Melissa), Kellie (son-in-law Tony), Jessica (son-in-law Ed), Britney (son-in law John), and Muriah. He is also survived by his adored grandchildren Brooke, Jackson, Madelyn, Noah, Adelina, Liam, Lincoln and Nolan, along with his brothers Gary and Cory. Rick is preceded in death by his father George, mother Ramona, and brothers Jack and Allen. He also joins his beloved wife Joyce in death, who passed in 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Wounded Warriors, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home located at 9800 Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI 48180.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Howe-Peterson directly followed by interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock.
