Richard Quinn Houston age 99 of Dearborn passed away on February 21, 2020 at Angela Hospice in Livonia. He was born September 28, 1920 in Belfast, Ireland the son of John & Elizabeth Houston. Richard came to the U.S. at age 3. He was a veteran of WWII in the 12 th Armored Division of the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946 and served in both Japan and the Philippines. He became a U.S. citizen in 1943 of which he was immensely proud. He married Patricia Bell in Detroit on June 11, 1949.
Richard is survived by his wife of 70 years, Patricia Houston of Dearborn.

Grandchildren Corey (Sarah) Houston; Jamie (Andy) Mork; Amanda (Matthew) Warner; Nicholas (Tara Pippins) Houston
Great grandchildren Quinn Houston; Sawyer Mork; Kellan Houston; Grayson Mork; Owen Warner; Claire Mork as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Ann "Mae" Boyd; Margaret Leeds and brother Joseph Houston; daughter-in-law Cynthia Houston; stepmother, Emily Houston.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 22124 Garrison Street, Dearborn, Michigan 48124. Gathering at church from 10:30 a.m.
