Richard Gary June, age 78, passed away June 30, 2023.

Beloved father of Richard F. June and Jezail June.
Dear brother of Abagail (Jack) Taeff, Larry (Nancy) June, Cliff June, Brad (the late Bonnie) June, Mary (Bill) Phillips, Gregory June, and the late Connie (Brad) Spears.
Caring son of Richard H. and Mary June.
Loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard was a man with many facets to his life. He made his career at Detroit Metropolitan Airport for many years, serving many different airlines, before retiring from Northwest. He worked diligently to become a talented and skilled aircraft technician, something that carries on through his family lineage in his daughter.

In his down time, Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He would take family trips every year to a variety of beautiful locations to cast out a line and hunt different animals. From Fletcher Pond in Michigan to picturesque lakes in Canada, he saw so many gorgeous landscapes.

Although Richard was a man of few words, it allowed him to observe and pick his sentences thoughtfully. He will be missed greatly by many.

A memorial gathering in his honor will be held Friday, July 7 from 2-8PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180.
