Richard J. King passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved father of Sharon (Kevin) Crews, Sarah Ostrom, Jennifer (Brandon) Poirier, and Joseph "Tony" King. Loving grandfather of Blair, Matthew, Andrew, Zoe, Onyx, Gaia, Joey, and Lukas. Cherished brother of Gary (Helen) King, Greg King, Anne (John) Garcia, and the late Lynda King-Donaldson. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Lillian King.

Richard is a proud veteran of the United States Army. Some of Richards favorite things to do was fishing and traveling. He had a love for Big Boy restaurant, especially because he loved flirting with the waitresses. Richard took up skydiving in his 70s and got his skydiving license by himself. He loved to watch sports, his favorite teams to watch were the Detroit Lions and U of M football. Richard was known for being very stubborn and loved to give people a hard time, but he was funny and extremely loving. He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
