McLaughlin, Richard H. age 101 passed away on May 30, 2021.  Beloved Father and Grandfather, Richard McLaughlin was a WWII Marine Veteran, Builder of Many Homes, and world traveler.   Richard was born in Minnesota January 15, 1920, and from there lived in Michigan, California, Illinois and Florida and traveled the world with his late wife, Virginia P. McLaughlin. He was a father of two, son Richard Darryl McLaughlin and daughter, the late Sheila Ronnell Walters. Grandfather to Shawn Lezotte, Nina McLaughlin, April Ewing, Anita Silveira, Matilde Ewing and Darryl Ewing and Father-in-law to Linda Ewing. His personality was as big as his heart.  He will be greatly missed! Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 South Telegraph Rd. at 11 A.M. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the Funeral Home from 1P.M.-8P.M. Burial will take place at Cadillac West Memorial Gardens, Westland, MI.
