Richard Murray, Age 71.

Beloved life partner of Phyllis Jose.

Loving son of Hazel and Charles Murray (both deceased).

Loving brother to John Ord, Patricia (Jose) Ord and Pamela (Jose) Proctor.

Cherished uncle of Heather (Michael) Gantz, Jeff Proctor (Terri Smith), John (Melissa) Ord, Penny (Adam Aeschliman) Ord, Sarah (Martin) Guenette and Kim Ord.

Great uncle of Marcel Guenette, Akira Ord, Maya Glover, Lorraine and Eddie Proctor, Abigail Smith and Teddy Gantz.

Richard began work at Sol Simon Sales and later completed a 25+ year career in Security with DWSD and GLWA.

Visitation will be held Thursday at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home (22546 Michigan Ave) from 4-8pm and Friday from 9-11am. Service 10am Friday.

Final interment will be at Washington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Smithsonian Institution or the Berkley Public Library (3155 Coolidge, Berkley, MI)
