Robert F. Bates

Robert F. Bates of Taylor Mi. passed away Tuesday January 30th, 2024, at Beaumont Hospital, in Dearborn.  Robert was born at Wyandotte General Hospital on April 8th, 1938, to Thorton & Martha Bates (Koester) and grew up on Kings Hwy. On August 30, 1958, Robert married Sandra Lee Hadley & they raised three sons in Allen Park. Mi.  Robert was a kind and generous man & enjoyed Bowling, Photography, Golfing and Hunting.  Robert retired in 1998 after 32 years at Ford Motor Co as a manager in Finance.  Robert was preceded in Death by his parents, Sister Joan Russel & middle son Fredrick J. Bates.  He is survived by wife Sandra.  Sons Stewart (Donna) & Aaron (Sharon), grandchildren Jasen and Cassondra (Joe) and great grandchildren.  Domenic, Luca, Elijah & Gabriel as well as numerous nephews and nieces and grand nephews & nieces.
