Bernard , Robert J. Sr., age 86 of Lincoln Park on July 13th, 2013 went to his eternal home in heaven to be with his beloved wife Marion of 50 years while surrounded by his family. He leaves his children Ellen (David) Buie, Robert Jr. (Connie), Gail (Jack) Thom, Steve, Michelle Krueger, Mark and adopted son Michael (Tracy) Vernier. He is also survived by grandchildren Julie Bernard, Rachael (Jeff) Emery, Robert III (Paula), Leslie Thom, Henry (Candice) Kreuger, Andrew Kreuger, Matthew and Jacob Vernier and five great grandchildren. He also leaves many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Lydia (Robert) Bernard, parent-in-laws Orrin and Betha (Smith) Miller, four sisters and one brother.
