Robert Nelson
Cosbey
January 5, 1949 – January 10, 2025
Robert Nelson Cosbey passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was 76 years old.
Beloved husband of Sandy. Dear father of Kevin Cosbey, Kimberly (Adam) Wenker, and Tony (Jodie) Cosbey. Proudest grandpa of Kayla, Tristan, Aiden, Isabella, Caleb, and Liam. Loving brother of Judy (Elton) Waggoner.
Bob worked as a general foreman for the Rouge Steel Industrial Hydraulics plant and as a plant manager for Nazar Rubber before he started his own business in sales. Outside of work, Bob loved to hunt and fish, looking forward to every time he could spend time with his family at the cottage in Onekama.
Bob also enjoyed muscle cars and hot rods; he used to own a '65 Pontiac GTO and a '69 Ford Mustang Mach I. As a teenager, he and his friends used to drag race on Telegraph. And recently, he developed an interest in southern cooking.
All of these passions were special because he could enjoy and share them with the ones he loved. Family was everything to Bob and he passed on many interests and a legacy to his children and grandchildren.
