Robert Allan Gardner passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Dianne for 57 years. Loving father of Mark (Sherry) Gardner, and Bobbi Crites. Papaw of Marcus (Alicia) Gardner, Scotty Gardner, Shane Crites, and Justin Crites. Great Papaw of Vera Jean, Elenora, and Atlas Lee. Dearest brother of Alice (the late Melvin) Beems, Shirley Montgomery, and Nancy Gardner. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Burt and Ida Gardner.

Robert had many hobbies including; hunting, fishing, golfing, and hogging the channel changer. He loved to ride his motorcycle and listen to music. Robert was the family clown, always making everyone laugh. He was known as the "master aggravator" for all the kids in the family, he was known to throw them in the pool from time to time when they least expected it. The kids loved it though, and they will have those memories forever. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 1:00-8:00pm and the funeral service will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 12:00pm located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Interment will be held at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens in Livonia, MI.
