Robert John Huska was born September 6, 1942 in Dearborn Michigan to John and Wanda Huska. Robert passed away December 7, 2022 at age 80.

Beloved husband of Michelle for 50 wonderful years. Loving father of Michael (Heather) Huska, Eric Huska, Rosie Teeley, Bobby (Amy) Huska, David Huska, Chris Huska, Steven Huska, Dawn (Jerome) Sanocki, Patrick Huska (Jennifer Moss) and Andrew Huska (Dayna Durantini).

Cherished grandfather of Katie, Michael, Lisa, Ryan, Jameson, Maverick, Seth, Lucas, Kaden, Cory, Devlyn, Katherine, Dakota, Krystal, Kayla, Victoria, and Christopher.

Bob graduated Edsel Ford High School, and served in the United States Marine Corps.

Bob met his wife Michelle at Omar's Bar where he swept her off her feet with his kindness and smooth dance moves. He continued to take her to the Satellite bowling ally where they would listen to the live bands and dance between frames.

He was a fan of Everything Detroit and loved all of the sports teams. You could always find Bob wearing Jerseys, hoodies, t-shirts and sweaters with something Detroit related on them. Being completely devoted to all the Detroit teams, even when they were down, he always stayed loyal and never gave up hope for a rebound.

Other things Bob enjoyed doing was playing pool, fishing, going down to watch the boat races, attending festivals parades and any and all firework displays possible with his children and grandchildren.

Above all, Bob was a family man. He loved his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. They were the light of his life right up until the end. Not only was Bob a father to his own children, but a father figure to anyone of his children's friends that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was truly a one of a kind and will be missed by so many family members friends. He is now at peace in the company of those who have gone before him.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18, from 11AM-2PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home with the service to follow beginning at 2PM.
