Robert was a hardworking, loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Once Robert settled into his career as a truck driver, he was known to drive many hours to be home for all family events and school activities for his family. After retiring from truck driving, He and Lynda travelled the country camping in an RV with their beloved Lucy (cat) and Marci (dog). They settled in Arizona until the passing of Lynda Smith. Robert loved watching his NASCAR every Sunday and shopped endlessly for Snoopy merchandise, and let's not forget the cold beer. Robert was also a double lung transplant patient who was given the gift of life and shared many more years with his family and created lasting memories for his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His biggest love was his wife Lynda, who he adored and now are reunited once again in heaven.
