LASKEY, ROBERT L.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert L. Laskey, Age 68 of Westland, Michigan. Born in Dearborn, Michigan on October 14,1957 to (the late) Robert H. Laskey and Bonnie L. Laskey.

Beloved son of Bonnie (Partner Don Kingery), brother of: Kathy (Joe) Nahra, Vickie (Joe) Pulido, Carol (Mike) Moore, Bonnie Sue (the late Nickie) Todaro, and Charles (Doris Tillery) Laskey.

Uncle to Patrick (Jennifer) Ringwelski, Kevin (Kathy) Ringwelski, Melissa (Partner Joe MacQuarrie) Moore, Shayna (Jason) Hale, Michael Moore, Brent (Nicole) Pulido, Kristin (Bryan) Tillery, Christopher (Nancy) Waechter, Jeremy (Brianna) Waechter, and Chuckie Laskey. He is survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, his Uncle Chuck Laskey, Aunt Sharon Laskey, Aunt Nancy Laskey and many cousins.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Laskey, niece Ashley Moore and great-niece Lauren Moore.

Bob enjoyed water sports, drag racing and hunting with his best friend and brother, Chuck. Most summer weekends you could find Bob and Chuck at Milan Dragway racing. He was world traveler with over 50 visits to Thailand, Vietnam and Asia. Bob loved working on his race car, motorcycle and classic vehicles and was often found tinkering in the garage. If ZZ Top was in town, you would find him at their concert. Bob loved holding all the babies born into the family. He loved watching sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan football.

Bob had a 30-year career at Northwest/Delta Airlines, along with a stint at TechMetals Steel Company.

Bob will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
