Robert E. Lewerenz, age 72, passed away on January 13, 2019 at his home in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.

Survived by his beloved wife of 43 wonderful years, Nancy Lewerenz (nee. Kutchey).
Proud father of Danielle Lewerenz and Robert (Sara) Lewerenz.
Caring grandfather to Corey and Morgan.
Dear brother of Jean (Reuben) Hoyer.

Robert was a man of many facets. He enjoyed traveling across the world. One of his favorite vacations, or "food roadtrips", was a drive down to New Orleans. Many amazing, and delicious, stops were made along the way! He also loved to travel by boat, an interest he cultivated by his time in the Navy. While on cruises with his family he could relax topside on the deck. Above all, computers and technology were his passion; he worked with them for most of his life. Robert was a funny man who was fiercely determined. He loved his family and friends and was loved by everyone he met.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 17 from 1-7PM with a prayer service at 7PM. All services will be located at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 9800 Telegraph. Robert will be laid to rest at Knollwood cemetery in Canton, Michigan.
