Robert "Bob" Mach was born on July 7th, 1950 and passed away on his birthday, July 7th, 2024 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Cathy (Gilliam) for 56 years. Loving father of the late Aaron (Vickie) Mach, Jason (Kimberly) Mach, Brandon (Michelle) Mach, and Katie (Steve) Demers. Caring grandfather of Julia, Alexandria, Wade (Janecia), Ty, Tiffany, Genna, Bella, Natalie, and Tessa. Great grandfather of Samuel and Lucian. Dear brother of Cherie Sacka. Bob leaves behind many loving brother and sister in laws, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Leonard and Dorothy (Williams) Mach.

Bob and Cathy were high school sweethearts who married shortly after high school. Four years after they married, they welcomed their first child Aaron, followed by Jason, Brandon, and Katie. Bob loved deer hunting, with several prize bucks hanging in his den to show his passion for hunting. Bob spent time coaching different teams that his kids were involved in including baseball, football, and weightlifting. After retiring Bob and Cathy traveled out west in their fifth wheel adventuring through Colorado, Texas, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and they also enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Bob loved his job at the City of Taylor, but there was nothing Bob loved more than his family. Bob was a devoted husband and father supporting his family in every step of their lives. It was no secret that Bob's true passion in life was being a husband, dad, and grandfather. Bob had a way of befriending anyone he met with his genuine kindness and compassion; He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
