Robert Anthony Main, AKA Bozo, age 87 of Taylor, Michigan, passed away June 12, 2022.

Beloved husband of Belinda Main (nee Young).

Proud father of Robert M. (Laura) Main, Steven (Cindy) Main, Gary (Terry) Martin, Gail (Dale) Johnson, Ricky (Monika) Martin, Laurie (Ron) Kempisty, Samuel Main, Chad Belles, Matt (Kristyn) Belles, Zachary "Bub" Main, and the late Elizabeth Yatchak.

Caring Peepaw and Grandpa Bozo to many grand, great, and great-great grandchildren.

Dear brother of the late Larry, Morton, Patricia, and Janet.

Cherished son of the late Morton and Augusta.

Loving uncle, great-uncle, and great-great uncle of many.

Robert lived a fun, full, and fulfilling life. He retired in 1998 after 45 years with Ford as a journeyman team leader for metal model maker. He was an adventurous type who liked to travel the United States and abroad with his family and see what the world had to offer.

Robert worked well with his hands and many of his hobbies reflected this. He enjoyed woodworking and built everything from doll and playhouses to remodeling his own home. Carrying on his love for the automotive industry, Robert dabbled in diecast car collecting in his later years.

Robert adored a good party. His vibrant personality gave him the talent to host and entertain anyone. He could always make you laugh with one of his fun costumes and his sense of humor. Above all, he loved his family and had a generous and giving heart. If someone ever expressed a want or need, Robert was quick to follow up with, "You better watch what you ask for".

Visitation on Thursday, June 16 from 4-9PM and Friday, June 17 from 2-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180.

Family and friend sharing time Friday, June 17 at 6PM at the funeral home.

Interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery Saturday, June 18. Arrive to the funeral home at 1:30PM to join the procession. Procession will travel from the funeral home to the cemetery at 2PM. Celebration of life at the cemetery at 2:30PM with military honors, officiated by Ronald and Donald Lewis.
