Robert "Bob" Myers passed away in his home Friday, May 14 and and is now reunited in heaven with his wife Anita, who preceded him in 2001.  He is survived by his daughter Christy, his son John, his adored grandson Judah, his mother Vicki, and 4 siblings. Born in Texas on September 21, 1952 Robert "Bob" David Myers was the first of 6 children.  At an early age, he fell in love with the ocean and enjoyed open sea and lake fishing throughout his life.  In Kansas City, Bob met the love of his life Anita Marie Jackson. After getting married Bob and Anita started their family in 1986 with the birth of their daughter Christy.  In 1988, their son John was born.  Bob loved his wife and children fiercely. He loved making his family laugh and worked hard throughout his career to provide for them. In 1987, Bob and Anita relocated to Michigan where they joined Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi.  Bob has been a respected member of the congregation ever since. After Anita joined God in heaven, Bob spent the remainder of years dedicated to raising his children, serving our Lord, and doting on his grandson. Bob will be remembered for his words of encouragement, his giving spirit, and his love for his family. He is remembered as a father, a son, a brother, and a leader in his industry, but most of all a servant of Jesus Christ. Arrangements for cremation entrusted to Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
