Robert Edward
Stoll
July 14, 1945 – April 13, 2025
Born on July 14, 1945 in Youngstown, Ohio to the parents of Robert and Julia. Robert Graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was a member of the Triangle Fraternity. In September of 1966 he joined the NROTC and eventually enlisting with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Once completing his obligation with the Navy, Robert began a new chapter in his life with The Ford Motor Company. He and Margareth moved to Dearborn Heights and started a family together. As the family grew, Robert began the expansion of the family home by adding a second floor to make room for the children. As the years went on he found himself climbing the corporate ladder ending up as a Senior Engine Development Manager, eventually retiring from a long and successful career in 2006. Robert had a love for Nascar, repairing cars and watching all of the Detroit Sports teams or game shows from his recliner. He enjoyed a good round of golf and spending quality time with his son Matt. Robert found joy playing with remote control cars as well as building model cars and baking with his wife, including baking the hundreds of cookies they would do together every Christmas. He always made time for his loving children, "no" was not in his vocabulary when it came to the kids. Beloved husband of Margareth, Loving father of Matt, Jennifer and Mark and grandfather of Carson.
Robert's Memorial gathering will take place on Friday, April 25th from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Ave., 48124. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society
