Obituary

VROMAN, Robert D. age 89 of Garden City passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2018 in the arms of his loving wife of 69 years and surrounded by family. Bob is survived by his large, adoring family - his wife since 1948, Nellie Louise, his children Cyndi Edwards, Bobby, Chris (Jean), Vickie Fincher (Gary), and the late Daniel (Deborah), his grandchildren Sandy (Jonathon), Dawn (David), Christina (Cody), Brandy (Jimmy), Kyle (Tiffany), Krystal (Jamie), Ashley (Ben), and Katielyn (Evan), great-grandchildren Capra, Indyra, Megan, Owen, Bodhi, Lyle, Kimber, Saylor, Cassidy, Haley, Jacob, Elliott, Tyler, Penelope, Phineas, and Caleb. Treasured son of the late Clare and Clara (Keucken), brother of Russell (Peggy) and the late Roger (Ruby), Eddie (Susie), and Donald (Jeanne). Robert served in the Marines but was a man of many interests. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling out west with brother in law Jerry Petre (Pam), Fife and Drum, visiting family, cruised, and was considered father and grandfather to more than his own children in that he touched the lives of many. He traveled across the United States and especially up to his family cabin in Traverse City. Robert was adventurous in his love for stock car racing. He was a devoted family man and will be missed by those who hold him in their hearts forever. A life celebration will be held in Robert's honor September 4th.  Please contact family for additional details.
