Obituary

Roena was born on July 13 th of 1922, in Belleville, Michigan to the delight of her parents, Benjamin and Gladys Guenther.

Back during those times, Bellville was all farm land. She spent many days playing with her two brothers, Clem and Robert building memories she would carry throughout her life time. She graduated high school and went on to marry the love of her life, John Wiseley, and start a family. This year would have been their 80 th anniversary!

The young couple had their first child, a daughter, Anita. Following that came 2 boys, David and Duane. She doted over her beautiful family and was devoted to caring for them. The children were all part of the scouts and the YMCA Indian Guides, both of which Roena was very involved.

Another organization Roena was proud to be very active in was the American Field Service (AFS). This is an Intercultural Program for international youth exchange students. Roena fostered many exchange students and also helped place them with other fostering homes.

There were other passions of Roena's. She loved to bake. She made many delicious treats that she would share with family and friends. She also played piano for many square dances and loved to polka. As you can see, Roena had touched the lives of so many people all over the world throughout her 98 years of selfless involvement in so many organizations.

Roena will be missed by all who had the opportunity to have her in their lives.
