Ronald Gillespie, age 81 of Taylor, Michigan, passed away May 11th, 2019.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (Dot) for 53 blissful years.
Proud father of Donald Gillespie, Bryan Gillespie, and Eric (Melissa) Gillespie.
Caring grandfather of Chelsie, Molly, Kyle, Megan, Alex, Cassandra, and great-grandfather of Maddison.
Cherished brother of Gordon Gillespie, Judy Gillespie, Karen Corbeille, and the late James Gillespie.

Ronald had many interesting facets to his life. He liked to relax by traveling down to Flat Rock for some offshore fishing trips. He developed a talent for making his own lures. Ron was also a big baseball fan and rooted for the Detroit Tigers. He'll be remembered for his great sense of humor, his loyalty, and his kindness.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14 from 2-8PM with an honors service at 6PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph. Funeral Wednesday, May 15 instate 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 21845 Wick Rd, Taylor. Donations in Ron's honor may be made out to the church or the Alzheimer's Association .
