Obituary

Ronald Kujawski passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023, at the age of 76.

Beloved husband of Nancy for 55 years.
Proud father of Susan (David) Szewczul and Jeffrey (Christy) Kujawski.
Caring grandfather of Sydney, Madison, Cody (Michaela), Tyler, Travis, Madison, and Matthew.

Great-grandfather of James.
Dear brother of Christine (Tony), James, Charlene, and Janet (Chuck).
Loved by many more nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Ron was born and raised in Hamtramck, Michigan.  He started his career at Michigan Bell in 1968. He worked in the telephone business for over 44 years then finally retiring from Quicken Loans.  He is fondly known by his friends as "Flash".  A nickname he earned at the phone company.

Ron was one of the kindest men you could have met, not a mean bone in his body. Besides being a great father to his children and doting grandfather, he was looked up to as a father figure by many and a big brother you wish you had. He had a great sense of humor and loved kidding around.  You had to take what he said with a grain of salt.  If he said you are bowling on lane 9, you just might want to double check the score sheet. He loved all sports from football to curling.  A huge Michigan Wolverines fan of basketball and especially football.  He was a season ticket holder for over 57 years, the patriarch of Section 5. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed being with his friends as much if not more than bowling. He was very easy to talk to and would pull you into a story. He enjoyed spending his Thursday's volunteering at Capuchin Services Center. Most of all he loved being with his family and friends spending time with them at Cedar Point to Traverse City, a graduation party, barbeque or just playing cards.
