Ronald Raymond
Narkun
November 13, 1963 – March 1, 2021
NARKUN, Ronald of Flat Rock, Michigan was called home to the Lord on March 1, 2021 at the age of 57.
Loving Father of Jordan (Alayna) Narkun, Dakota (Anissa) Narkun, and Mackenzie (Marco) Narkun. Dearest Grandfather of Castiel, Aurora, and one on the way. Best Friend and Fiancé of Deanna Samson.
Dear Brother of Michele (Louis) Sharkey, Cheryl (Alan) Sachs, Gary Narkun, Lori (Jim) O'Neill and the late Anthony Narkun. Precious Son of the late Anthony and Janice Narkun. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a loving, devoted and proud father and his children meant everything to him. Spending time with family and friends was his greatest joy, especially at his favorite place, the Blue House in Lewiston. Ron was so endeared – everyone who knew Ron loved Ron, for his sense of humor, his genuine good-naturedness and generosity. He brought joy and smiles and love to everyone – he truly was the Best All-Around guy.
Ron had lots of interests – especially outdoors activities. He loved hunting, boating, fishing, swimming in his backyard pool, home construction and repair work. He was affectionately called Do-Man by his dad whom he spent time working with learning how to build and repair anything. He loved his parents, enjoyed spending time with them as a child, teenager and adult. He would share the best stories about his Mom and "Pops" especially about afternoon's spent on Lake Erie and Duffy's.
Ron worked at Ford Motor Company and retired after 27 years. He was a dedicated employee and strong leader, whose colorful personality brought lots of fun to the workplace.
Ron courageously fought Leukemia twice until he was called home to the Lord. Ron enjoyed life, always looked forward to the future. He was an amazing person; his generous spirit has touched so many and changed many people's lives for the better. He will be greatly missed but the happy memories and experiences he created for others will live forever.
