Ronald "Joe" Skiver, age 85, passed away January 23, 2024.

Beloved husband of Ellen.
Proud father of Dan and Renee Skiver.
Caring grandfather of Gavin.
Dear brother of Sharon "Cookie" Bonner.

Joe was a man who lived an active life. He loved to bowl, snowmobile, play hockey, baseball, and golf. He'll always be proud of the one hole in one he made! Sometimes he'd even go fishing at the golf course. When he wasn't playing sports, he was watching his favorite teams play on TV: the Tigers and the Wings. Family time was important to Joe, too. They enjoyed sports with him and traveling out to their family home in Coldwater. Joe was a dedicated Army Veteran and millwright for McLouth Steel in Gibraltar. He will be missed greatly.

Visitation will be Monday, January 29 from 2-8PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 30 at 10AM, instate from 9:30AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2565 3rd St, Trenton, MI 48183.
