Ronald Edward Tonge, age 78, lifelong resident of Taylor, Michigan passed away May 6 ^th , 2019.

Proud and loving father of Mark Tonge and Karen (Tony) Belzak.
Former spouse of Janet.
Caring grandfather of Courtney Tonge and Kristin Tonge.
Dear brother of the late Florence (Stanley) Cermak, Leonard Tonge, and Diane Gall.
Cherished son of the late Irene and Harold Tonge.
Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ronald lived a life with many interesting facets to it. He retired after 36 years as an x-ray technician at Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn. He always had a mechanically inclined mind and the skills to fix most anything. He earned the nickname "computer Ron" by those at his favorite restaurant. Ron could often be found tinkering with cars and fixing pretty much anything he got his hands on. He boasted an impressive collection of clocks. In grade school he picked up a proficiency for checkers that carried on throughout his life; he was a passionate competitor who was hard-pressed to be beat! Those with the honor of knowing Ron will remember him as a tenacious man with a drive to accomplish any task he set his mind to, with the strength to fight on through any adversity, and the heart to love and be loved by so many people. He will be missed dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Ron's life will take place at 1:00pm Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West located at 34224 Ford Road in Westland Mi.
