Ronald Phillip Wood passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Ruth. Loving father of Jim (Gergana) Wood and step father of Peggy (the late Mike) Webster and the late Dennis (Marilyn) Hooker. Proud grandpa of Mara, Tim, and Ryan (Kristi). Great-grandfather of Scarlett, Chiara, and Aaiden. Dear brother of Marilyn Lehmann, the late Diane Sullivan, and the late Alice Graham. Ron is also survived by his former wife, Joyce Arnold.

Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years. Following his discharge, he attained his bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and his masters from Central Michigan University. He was an industrial engineer, working for the "Big 3". Most of his career was spent at Ford from which he retired.

Ron was a 62 year long member of the Masons and was a devoted pet father, caring for many cats and dogs through the years.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Monday, November 28, 11am-1pm. Service will be at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment with Navy honors to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
