Rosethel "Polly" Howe, Ph.D., a longtime resident of Dearborn, passed away on January 20, 2020 at age 95 following a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Ray. Proud mother of Amanda Howe. Dear sister of Jerry "Jake" (Arlene) Flaishans and the late Irma Rae (the late Ed) Kruse. Polly is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dr. Howe was employed by Dearborn Public Schools as an educator for 39 years, primarily at Henry Ford Community College. She was a proud member of the American Federation of Teachers Local 1650, Coalition of Labor Union Women Metro Detroit Chapter, and founding member of Pay Equity Network of Michigan.

Polly loved to travel and was fortunate to be able to do so throughout her life.
