McNAMEE, Russell passed away on February 10, 2020 at the age of 87 in Englewood, Florida.

Beloved husband of the late Elsie.

Loving father of Debra (the late Mark) Temple, Russell Jr. (Kim), and Ronald (Vera).

Dearest grandfather of Colleen (John) Maynarich, Russell (Hannah) McNamee, Stephanie (Eric) Gosur, Jennifer McNamee (Steve) , Ryan (Renee) McNamee, Jonathan (Emily) McNamee, and Nicholas McNamee.

Dear great-grandfather of Laila Antko, Emma Maynarich, Jacob Antko, Jack Maynarich, Molly McNamee, Conner McNamee, R.J. McNamee, Garrett McNamee, Hailey McNamee, Reese McNamee, Declan Gosur, Lucy McNamee, Brooklyn Gosur, Reid McNamee, and Rhett McNamee.

Family was very important to Russell and he loved spending time with them as well as his friends in Florida. He really enjoyed bowling on a league.

Russell loved his career as a firefighter and retired from the Taylor Fire Department. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 S. Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI. 48180. Visitation from 2:00PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, February 16, 2020 with A Lodge of Sorrow Service at 6:00PM.
