Ruth Anne Spahr, age 85, passed away September 9, 2022 peacefully at home.

Beloved wife of the late Robert Todd Spahr.
Proud mother of Eric and the late Robert John Spahr.
Dear sister of Nancy Elliot.
Loving aunt to Lisa Escott, Greg Elliott, Debbie Fankhauser, great-aunt to Kathy Elliott, Elizabeth Venson, Jessica Freisner, Christy Henry, Alexandra Fankhauser, and Joshua Escott, and great-great aunt to many more.
Ruth was born January 13, 1937 to her treasured parents, the late Lester and Lucille Essig.

Ruth kept and cared for a gorgeous garden. She had quite the green thumb for the beautiful flowers she grew. In her spare time, she also liked to relax by playing a few rounds on the green. Dearborn Hills Golf Course was her second home for almost 30 years. Ruth was well known and loved and will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be Friday, September 23rd from 12-3PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124.
