Ruth June Tanner, age 87, entered into eternal rest this February 14th, 2018 in Taylor, Michigan.

Ruth was the loving wife of the late Robert M. Tanner.
Beloved mother to Michael (Bernadette), David (Sandi), Nancy Greer, Linda (Tanner), and Gary (Agnes).
Cherished grandmother to Amy (Matthew) Kapell, Jonathan, Dan (Misty) Greer, Kimberly (Tony) Bemus, Alyssa Tanner, Nick Tanner, and Phillip Tanner.
Treasured great-grandmother of Aidan, Alexandria, Jonah, and Kalyn.
Dearest sister-in-law to Mary Jones.
Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a respected parishioner of Romulus Community United Methodist Church and admired neighbor. She had a crafty, artistic flare and made the world a much more bright and beautiful place. Overflowing with compassion, her doors were always open to anyone.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19th at the Romulus Community United Methodist Church, 11160 Olive Street in Romulus, 11:00 AM, Instate 10:30 AM. Visitation Sunday, February 18th at the Taylor chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph, from 2:00-8:00 PM.
