Ruth Ann Williams, age 80, long time resident of Riverview. Beloved wife of the late Royal. Dearest mother of Cheryl Schramm (Timothy), Paul (Sarah) and the late Thomas. Loving grandmother of Joshua Schramm (Tabbitha), Sophie Schramm (Addison), Kaylee (Angelo), Taylor and Parker. Dear sister-in-law of Michelle Sonier and aunt of Scott Radak.

Ruth Ann was born December 21, 1943 in Trenton, Michigan to Thomas Earl and Helen Margaret McGee as their only child. She grew up in the City of Taylor, attending Fletcher Elementary which was across Pardee Street from her childhood home. Ruth's family moved to Wyandotte, where she attended Roosevelt High School. While there she met the love of her life Royal. Royal ultimately became a member of the Riverview Police Department and they raised their family in Riverview. Ruth and Royal were active members at the Riverview United Methodist Church and the Trenton Masonic Lodge. They loved to take their family and ultimately their grandkids camping in Ludington, and all of them have accompanied grandma and grandpa going to garage sales.  Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1st at the Taylor Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd. Taylor, 48180. Visitation Saturday 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
