Ruth was the heart of the La Beau family.

A Mother, grandma, and great-grandma who loved fiercely, welcomed everyone warmly, and made sure no one ever left hungry. She would set up a place for you stayed in her house or even a warm blanket to keep you warm. We'll always remember your loving nature, your big heart, you always willing to help, or your random phone calls just to talk and tell us you love us. She showed her love through homemade meals made from the heart, and a table that always had room for one more. She didn't just feed people—she gathered them. Ruth taught.  How to host, and how to open your home with intention and care Being in her home meant feeling loved, safe, and seen. So much of who we are and how we love others, comes from her. Those lessons will live on in us all.

You touched the heart from people all over the world who knew you online or met you in person. You are loved beyond words and always will be a big blessing to Our Heart's.

Proud Great-grandmother of Noah Lee, Ava Leeann, Rori Lee, Mason Lee and Evelyn Kelly.  Sister of David Proctor, Larry (Mary) Proctor and the late Raymond Proctor, Donald Proctor, Valerie Hodor and Roger Proctor.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 1:00-8:00PM.  Funeral Service will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11am at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home located at 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor Mi.
