Sally J. Pfeifer passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Dear mother of Patrick Pfeifer, Jeffrey (Janice) Pfeifer, Vicki Ponder, and Lori (Tim) Bowles. Proud Grandma of Michael (Valerie), Matthew, Nolan, and Jacob (Anna). Great-Grandmother of Aiden, Lilia, and Oliver.

Sally was born the third of ten children on the family farm in New Lexington, Ohio. Her family affectionately called her "Sis". She is survived by brothers Stanley (Diane), Steve, Calvin, Dennis (Vicki) and sisters in law Gloria Allen, Patricia Allen and Frances Medos. Sally was predeceased by her parents Francis and Rosemary Allen, brothers Bernard (Christina), Robert, Sam, Richard and sister Pauline.

She loved animals of all kinds, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, and baking sweets (and eating them too). She was gifted in crafts including embroidery, flower arranging, and sewing.

Sally enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She would often take the grandchildren to Greenfield Village and return to her hometown to visit.

She and Joe were lifelong parishioners of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church where she was active in the St. Vincent de Paul committee.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 22, 3-8pm. Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Feb. 23, 11am. Gathering at the church begins at 10:30am. Interment at St Hedwig Cemetery.
