It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Samantha, at the age of 39.
Samantha was the cherished daughter of Keith and Darlene, and a loving sister to Jason (Terrie). She was a proud and devoted aunt to her nephew Louis and niece June, who brought immense joy to her life. She was deeply loved by her godparents, Robert and Marygrace Nagy, and surrounded by a large and caring family. She is also loved by her aunts and uncles: Debra (Robert) Erickson, Ernest (Audrey) Nagy, and David (Margaret) Nagy, along with Lisa Meyers, Sherry (Ralph) Herikmer, Candice (Steven) Jurko, Scott Edmunds, Tiara (Brian) Goethals, Erica (Larry) Bash, and many loving cousins.
Samantha was a dedicated nurse whose compassion extended far beyond her profession. She was known for her kind heart, her willingness to help others, and her ability to make people feel seen and cared for. She had a beautiful balance to her spirit—both a girly girl and a true tomboy. She loved the outdoors and cherished summers spent on the water, where she found peace and happiness.
Whether boating or casting a line, and asking daddy, "What's a nibble?" Samantha especially loved fishing and was often the one proudly reeling in the biggest catch. She was not only an amazing daughter and sister, but also a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, including those she held close as her best friends' children.
She was always there to lend a helping hand, attend appointments for support, or simply offer a listening ear. Her presence brought comfort, strength, and love to everyone around her. Samantha will be remembered for her selflessness, her warmth, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her impact on the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
Always and forever
