Samuel J. Belzer passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2022. He was 93 years old. Beloved husband of Constance for 67 wonderful years. Dear father of Kimberly Belzer. Proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by longtime friend and neighbor, Andrew Sarna.

Sam proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Alaska. Following his service, he drove a Stroh's beer delivery truck for 38 years and also served as a member of the board of Associated Brewery Workers Credit Union/Christian Financial Credit Union for 50 years. In his spare time, Sam enjoyed golfing and watching the Detroit sports teams play, especially the Tigers. Since retiring, Sam held a standing lunch appointment every Thursday with his good friends from the Credit Union.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 17, 4-8pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Kateri Catholic Church on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 11am. A gathering of family and friends will begin at the church at 10am.
