Beloved husband of Cheryl Barhorst-Kirby. Loving father of Sherry Kirby, Stacey Gates (Wesley), Samantha Skill (Norwood), Stanley Kirby (Laura), Crystal Butler (Rob), Jeremy Smith (Sarah), Sebastian Kirby and the late Scott. Dearest grandfather of Todd, Christy, Anna, Rachel, Ashley, Robert, Scotty, Dalton, Sean, Eric, Hana, Cassandra, Bethanny, Benjamin, Mason, Lucas, Avery, Wystan and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Samuel was pre-deceased by his parents Vernon and Jenny and his sister Donna Stead.  Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 30th at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Ave.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.  Interment Parkview Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia.
