Obituary

Samuel Lee Saggers Jr., known by his close friends and family as Lee, passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2024. Preceded in death by his father, Samuel Lee Saggers Sr., he leaves behind a legacy of strength and love.

Born on June 17, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, Lee faced life's challenges with unwavering determination. He overcame countless obstacles, demonstrating an incredible ability to bounce back from anything in his way.

Lee learned to work on cars from his father at an early age and developed a passion for automotive repair. He was well-known in the neighborhood for his expertise and willingness to help others with their cars.

His passion for cars was evident in his work on everything from engines to sound systems. He found joy in the details, turning a hobby into a craft.

Lee recently began working at the Goodwill Industries automotive plant, a job he truly enjoyed and looked forward to every week.

Lee's sudden loss has left his family devastated. His absence has created a void that can never be filled. The family takes solace in the belief that Lee has been reunited with his father, Samuel Lee Saggers Sr.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sarah Saggers; his cherished sons, Samuel Lee Saggers III and Brandon Dsean Saggers; his devoted sister, Sherry Saggers; his beloved niece, Samarah Saggers ("his Sunshine"); his cherished nephew, Anthony Howard Jr. (Ami); his great nieces, Abigail Howard and Alaina Howard; and his grandchildren: Kayelle Saggers, Ashton Stanley, Braycen Saggers, Carmelo Saggers, Zavian Flores Saggers, and S'Miyah Saggers. He will be deeply missed by a host of extended family and friends.

Lee's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
