Groat, Sandra, passed away November 19, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Joseph for 48 years. Dearest mother of Bob (Helga), Geri (Andy) Antonucci, Joe (Joy), and Wendy (Drew) Abrahamson. Proud grandmother of Bobby, Johnny, Stevie, Tony, Gina, Tyler, Matt and Brenden. Dear daughter of the late Gerald and Joyous Boortz. Loving sister of Doug (the late Judy), Dennis, Jan (the late Jerry) Simmons, the late Dicky and the late Gary. Precious aunt to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her trusting canine companion, Opee. Retired from Taylor Public Schools. Was an avid painter, loved the arts and was a huge baseball fan.
