Sandra Lee Mitchell passed away on April 11, 2021 at the age of 73.

Beloved mother of Anna Marie (Danial Scott) Wilenius.

Loving grandmother of Summer Alanna Petri, Sheena Marie Petri, and Paxton Amy Wilenius.

Cherished significant other of Joe Wall.

Dear sister of Vicky Lynn Barbee.

Dearest aunt of Danny Ray Atnip, Karina Fay (Ben) Herring and Jen (Matt) Mathis.

Great aunt of Ian Herring, London Herring, Tegan Mathis and Adia Mathis.

Niece of Sharon Neill - who was very helpful in taking care of Sandra.

Also survived by many cousins, friends and relatives.

Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Randolph Mitchell; two brothers, Barry Earl Atnip and Danny Lou Atnip; and her parents, Aaron Calvin and Margaret Marie Atnip.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 1:00PM on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd. Funeral service at 1:00PM. Private burial at Woodmere Cemetery.

In respect to the executive order, the visitation and service for Sandra Mitchell will be limited to 25 visitors at a time in the funeral home and face masks/coverings are required.
