Sharon McCosky, caring wife, mother, and sister, joined her parents and sister Rowena in eternal rest on February 28, 2021 at the age of 78.

She was born to Dutch and Bertha Miller in 1942, and while at Lincoln Park High School, she met her husband Tom McCosky just before he began serving the US Army. They married after his return home from Germany, and within a few years, they welcomed into the world their two sons, Brian and Darren. She was a great mom and wife of 57 years.  Sharon enjoyed cards, bingo with her sisters, watching old TV shows, and had quite the sweet tooth. She loved planting flowers, working on her lawn, enjoyed an old Elvis tune, and always had a kind smile to share.

In addition to her husband and sons, Sharon is survived by her siblings Diane Pendergrast, Janice Pedrys, and Keith Miller, three grandchildren (Ethan, Lauryn, and Garrett), and many nieces and nephews.

A small private funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday March 3, 2021 at J.L. Peters Funeral Home in Lincoln Park.
