Shelby Jean
Coleman
March 4, 1940 – November 25, 2025
Shelby Coleman, beloved wife of Bee for 59 wonderful years. Loving mother of John Coleman (Mirella), and Cora Coleman. Shelby passed away peacefully on November 25 2025, surrounded by the family she cherished so deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unmatched creativity that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Shelby was known by all as an extraordinary cook and baker. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and joy, where family recipes were perfected, new dishes were shared, and countless memories were made. Whether she was preparing a holiday feast or simply baking a batch of her famous treats, she poured love into every ingredient.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Shelby had a remarkable talent for sewing and creating clothing. Her skilled hands could transform fabric into something beautiful, and she took great pride in making things for the people she loved.
Shelby and her devoted husband, Butler, shared a spirit of adventure that took them across the country in their motorhome. Together, they traveled through 37 states, collecting stories, seeing new places, and enjoying the journey as much as the destinations. Their travels were a testament to their partnership, joy for life, and love for one another.
Above all, Shelby treasured her family. She loved deeply and without hesitation, offering unwavering support, kindness, and warmth. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought light, and her love brought strength to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Shelby will be remembered for her generous heart, her many talents, the amazing meals she prepared, and the beautiful life she lived. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends.
May she rest in peaceful grace.
