KOZER, Shirley A. of Dearborn Heights.

Born August 19, 1931 in Detroit, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on March 13, 2017, at the age of 85.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Donald Kozer, and her son-in-law, Joey Starr.  She is survived by her children: Debi Kozer of Livonia, Denise (Joey) Starr of Commerce Township, Greg Kozer (Fred Earl) of Dundee, and Lisa (Michael) McCaffery of Dearborn and by her beloved grandson, Jason Knobblock of Tampa, Florida. Shirley was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, the Detroit Red Wings – Ted Lindsay being her favorite player and the Detroit Tigers.  She enjoyed frequent trips to Greektown Casino, Sanders hot fudge cream puffs, reading anything from a good mystery to a biography to a trashy romance novel, watching Family Feud with Steve Harvey and playing "Words with Friends" with her family members on her cell phone.  Visitation will be held Wednesday 4:00 PM – 900 PM for all.  Funeral Service will take place Thursday 12:00 Noon at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  Burial to follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
