Shirley Parker Laswell, 89, of Taylor passed away August 5th, 2018 in Dearborn, Michigan.

He joins his wife of 36 years, Doris Elaine, in eternal peace.
Proud father of Carol Laux, Deborah Heikkila, and Jeffrey (Graziella) Laswell.
Beloved grandfather of David, Elizabeth, Aliea, Cassie, Carey, and Jeffrey.
Caring great-grandfather to Levi Brooklyn.

Parker was a loving role model for his children, an adoring husband, and a dedicated Ford pipe-fitter for 35 years. He loved Detroit Tiger's baseball, hunting, fishing, and gardening. His tomatoes and peaches were legendary on Fairfax Street.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 8th from 2-8PM. Funeral Thursday August 9th at 10AM. All services will be located at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Parker will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in his honor may be made out to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
