Simon loved to walk or bike ride on Grosse Ile. He had a sense of adventure whether it was hiking in Michigan's Upper peninsula or skiing in Colorado, he loved being active. When Simon wasn't enjoying the great outdoors here in Michigan he could be found vacationing down in Florida.  He had a love for animals and often times would rescue a dog or cat and provide them a place in the family home.  Simon was a very generous, kind soul who gave all of his love to his family.  He enjoyed many years of retirement from The Ford Motor Company and took much pride in being an alumni from U of M.  Beloved husband of the late Diane.  Loving father of David Rygell and Lauren Jensen.  Dearest brother of Joanne Mryncza and Lorraine Janis Ellis. Private cremation services entrusted to Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  Please leave an online condolence to comfort the family.
