Sondria Clay of Taylor, Michigan passed away on December 20, 2019 at the age of 71. Sondria was born in Williamson, West Virginia to Newman and Ethel Bessie Cochran. Sondria married her beloved husband, David, in 1965 and shortly after they moved to Michigan. Together they had 2 children, Jeffrey and Valarie. Sondria was most happy taking care of others, especially her children and grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking loaves of bread for the neighbors.

Sondria leaves behind her beloved husband, David; her two children, Jeffrey and Valarie (John) McAfee; grandchildren: Nichol, Amber, Chelsea, and Jeffrey Jr.; great grandchildren: Riley, Kaylee, Colt, and Wolfe; her two brothers, Carson and Billy; as well as her eight sisters: Floretta, Diana, Dottie, Rita, Dona, Tammy, Vicki, and Kristie. Sondria is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Sondria's life will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 2:00PM to 8:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd.
