Age 100. Loving wife of the late Charles. Loving mother of Carl Phyllis, Edward Carol, Alfred Jean and the late Richard Lucille. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Alexander and Alexandra Korwek. Sister of the late William, Edward, Estelle, Agnes, Jennie, Henrietta and Irene. Also leaves behind many family members, friends and neighbors. Sophie was an active volunteer in numerous organizations. Board member at Mary Crest Manor of Livonia, Detroit Chapter of the Polish Womans Alliance, St. Hedwig Church in Detroit and named 1979 Polish Mother of the Year.
