Stanley P. Smokovitz, August 23, 2008 Born in 1919 in Vulcan, Michigan Served in WW II, Pacific Theatre and lived in Detroit. Beloved husband of the late Cleo. Dearest father of Judy Patrick Hayden, Greg Sue and Joseph Barb. Dear grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 6. In state Thursday, 9:30am with Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Alfred Catholic Church, 9500 Banner, Taylor. Visitation Wednesday, 2-9pm at the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Road. Rosary, Wednesday, 7:00pm. Interment at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp.
