Beloved husband of Grace.

Loving father of Judy (Brian) Kirby, Cynthia (Ronald) Jaroh, Carol (Mark) Burke, William (Kelly), Kathleen (David) Richeson and Stephen (Cindi).

Grandfather of Grace, Jessica, Michael, Patrick, Julia, China, Jacqueline, Stephen, Courtney (Dean) Marten, Brian (Kelly), Lauren (Thomas) Kohr, Justin and Colleen.

Great grandfather of Cash, Eloise, Gwen and Sloane.

Preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Julia Burke.

Dear brother of Agnes Woolsey, Thomas and the late Lawrence, Edward, Marie Colbert, Rita Bowles, Patrick, James and Katherine Pomarolli.

Stephen served as corporal in the 1st Division of the Marine Corps in the Pacific during WWII.

He was a revered coach of many young athletes as well as a star basketball player for the Union High School Bulldogs of Dugger, Indiana.

Funeral service Wednesday 10:30 AM, (in-state at 10:00 AM), at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Visitation on Tuesday 3-9 PM. Burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
